NSW: Support Anzac veterans but Iraq protest inappropriate: Carr
New South Wales Premier BOB CARR says Australians should turn out in force during tomorrow'sAnzac Day march in central Sydney to support the nation's war veterans.
But he says it would be inappropriate for demonstrators to use the occasion to protestagainst the federal government's policy of involvement in the war in Iraq.
Mr CARR says while he still believes the war in Iraq was unnecessary, it doesn't affecthis admiration for fellow Australians who had served in the armed forces.
